JIFF Official Coach Registration System
In cooperation with JFA, and with the newly introduced disability football training course in 2017 as a part of the refresher training seminar held by JFA or the 47 prefectural football associations for JFA licensed coaches, we established the JIFF official couach registration system in June 2018.
For the purpose to create an environment where pesons with disabilities can have coaching and play football in any place of Japan, JIFF issue a certificate for those who finish the course. The registered coaches fall into the following 2 classifications: an“inclusive football coach” granted to those who took a disability football coaching course and a “JIFF promotion leader” granted to those who took a disability football coaching course for beginners.
We regularly provide the latest information regarding coaching opportunities and the news about disability football for the registered coaches.

Background for the introduction of the system
Nevertheless the environment surrounding persons with disabilities is guradually improving as our society is changing, it has still not reached an enough level. Lack of places, coaches and social awareness of disability football is one of major problems that we have to tackle
It is definitely necessary for us to obtain cooperation and understanding from football coaches in order to create an environment where anyone can enjoy football anytime, anywhere. We need coaches who can connect and facilitate mutual understanding between pesons with and without disabilities, however, it is still difficult to create places for persons with disabilities to play football in each area due to lack of the information about the sport.
Through the registration system, we aim to increase the number of coaches who get interested in disability football and to encourage them to share information and create such places together.

Inclusive football coaches are expected to do the followings:
- To accept persons with disability in their teams or create a new team with them
- To take part in and cooperate with events of disability football
- To promote disability football in local comunities
Benefits
- A certificate of inclusive football coach which is perpetually effective is issued for a registered coach.
- We also regularly provide newsletters about disability footballo evemts amd competitions from JIFF and the seven disabiity football associations.
- We will also introduce their activities on an email newsletter if they report to us.
